a touch of tokyo

April 8th, 2009

As part of the ongoing celebration of its 15 years as one of Tokyo’s top hotels, Park Hyatt Tokyo has announced the new Tokyo Massage at its Club on the Park Spa. True to its name, the treatment offers guests the best of Tokyo, incorporating the natural essence of its four distinctive seasons with a combination of Japanese massage (Shiatsu) and Swedish techniques as the core of the 90-minute massage treatment.

The massage combines hand compressions, and kneading and drainage movements with stretching moves to ease muscular tension. They use their own original blend of oils made from 100% domestically grown plants.  The oils are recommended according to the season.  The spring selection includes acacia, lavender, and ponkan orange.

Located on the 45th and 47th floors, Club on the Park is a true urban oasis with seven private treatment rooms, a Vichy shower, whirlpools, saunas, and a 20-meter pool enclosed by a glass atrium. The spa offers unparalleled views of the city, extending all the way from the Kanto Plains to Mount Fuji.
