not-so-common sense

July 16th, 2008

Rosewood Mayakobá unveiled its “Sense, a Rosewood Spa” in March, the first from Rosewood Hotels & Resorts’ new spa brand. The 17,000-square foot spa is on its own island, surrounded by Yucatán flora, with relaxation areas spread through the indoors and out.

A margarita after a day in the sun is wonderful, but to truly decompress, you might try the new “Sense Spa Voyage” offer. This new package for two includes a a tailor-made fitness program and a two-hour long private yoga session in the outdoor pavilion-and aromatherapy massages. The perfect ending? A specialty cocktail from the resort’s “tequila library.”
