From a show-stopping new tasting room and two anticipated hotel debuts to wine-free excursions and new boats on the Napa River, these just-launched restaurants, shops, and experiences are luring travelers to Napa Valley this summer and beyond.

Also, since mid-April, charter jet company JetSuiteX resumed service connecting Burbank and Orange County with Napa County Airport, making access to wine country easier—and more stylish—than ever. Passengers can arrive just 20 to 30 minutes before departure, bypassing the usual airport hassle, while the airline’s 30-seat aircraft offer business-class-style comforts, including complimentary Starlink Wi-Fi.

For his next act, acclaimed French vintner Jean-Charles Boisset (he operates 28 wineries in California, France and Canada) has teamed up with veteran wine educator Ashley Pengilly to debut Napa Fragrance, a scent-driven emporium at First Street Napa Plaza beneath the Archer Hotel. Born from the duo’s shared passion for design, sustainability, and terroir, the boutique stocks clean fine fragrances alongside soaps and other products reminding of Napa’s natural beauty (think: a candle inspired by the valley’s iconic mustard bloom). Also new to downtown Napa is Amy Day, a female-owned indie boutique stocked with bohemian apparel and one-of-a-kind gifts, as well as the gourmet grocery store Rancho Gordo, which rang in its 25th anniversary with a new retail storefront on Main Street, showcasing the brand’s full product line of spices, salsas, and heirloom beans.

EXPORE & CAFFEINATE

Napa Valley Bike Tours has introduced its first-ever wine-free guided excursion, offering a refreshing new way to experience the region beyond the tasting room. The journey begins at Charles Krug Winery in St. Helena, where guests set out along the car-free Napa Valley Vine Trail en route to Calistoga. The eight-mile ride unfolds at a leisurely pace, passing vineyards and open valley landscapes, before arriving in Calistoga for an hour of free time to explore its shops, galleries, and restaurants. The return ride ends back at Charles Krug, where family-friendly fun might look like picnics, lawn games, and wood-fired pizza.

For a different perspective on Napa’s sights, opt for a private 75-minute cruise for up to six guests aboard BOATNAPA’s new Duffy electric boat, complete with an outdoor deck for soaking up the scenery. As you glide along the Napa River, passing by historic buildings, rolling vineyards, and wildlife-rich natural areas, a dedicated guide and captain will keep your glass filled with complimentary Azur rosé and serve gourmet add-ons like Morimoto sushi and charcuterie boards.

At new coffee shop Kindled & Ground in downtown Napa, a robot barista serves espresso-based drinks while owners Courtney and Justin Lester lead guests through specialty candle-making experiences. Over in St. Helena, the popular Calistoga coffee shop Sam’s General Store has just debuted its second location, serving coffee, pastries, and breakfast.

STAY

In February, The Charles Hotel unveiled its second property, The Charles Napa Valley, set within a meticulously restored 1906 Victorian mansion built by Napa craftsman E.W. Doughty. Mirroring its sister property in Pacific Grove, the seven-room inn reflects owner and interior designer Charles Gruwell’s maximalist vision, channeling Victorian-era London through richly layered interiors filled with antiques sourced from local shops and estate sales.

Also new on the scene is Casa Mani Resort Napa Valley, Curious Collection by Hilton, a 203-room hotel spread across seven lush acres near downtown Napa. Designed to bring the spirit of wine country into more of an urban setting, the property centers on a large outdoor pool area, complete with a garden featuring native vegetation and communal fire pits. Highlights of the reimagined property include a fitness center and spa kitted out with Peloton cardio equipment and hydrothermal circuits, as well as an outpost of the popular West Hollywood-born BOA Steakhouse.

For a refreshed wellness stay, Silverado Resort recently unveiled a newly reimagined Spa and Longevity Center. Following a multi-month renovation, the space blends science-backed therapies with advanced recovery technology, anchored by a new Recovery Lounge featuring compression therapy, infrared treatments, and vibroacoustic relaxation. Designed with health, fitness, and holistic care in mind, the expanded center includes personalized wellness journeys, longevity-focused treatments, and a state-of-the-art fitness center equipped with cutting-edge Technogym and AI-powered training systems.

Husband-and-wife duo Jean-Charles Boisset and Gina Gallo-Boisset—heirs to two of wine’s most storied families—have unveiled the Flora Springs Wine Lounge on First Street. Conceived as a “garden of wine and experience,” the airy, light-filled space centers around a long marble bar serving wine-based cocktails made with Flora Springs wines, sparkling cuvées, fresh botanicals, and seasonal citrus. The menu also introduces a new lineup of crisp white wines alongside the winery’s flagship Trilogy Red and Soliloquy White. Rounding out the experience: California-inspired small bites, caviar tastings, and artisanal chocolate pairings.

On Napa’s Silverado Trail, Lewis Cellars has recently unveiled a showstopping new tasting room inspired by the estate’s “big reds and sexy chardonnays.” The maximalist space pairs riotous textiles with herringbone parquet floors, restored ceiling beams, and floor-to-ceiling windows framing views of the Mayacamas Mountains. Owner and art collector Lynda Resnick collaborated with curator Bernard Jazzar to kit out the glamorous interiors with original artworks, including 15 pieces by California-based mixed-media artist Zachary Scott.

At the Meritage Resort & Spa, Sora Napa is a whimsical, candy-hued venue specializing in sparkling wine and champagne, available exclusively for private events. Kick off your celebration with a refreshing sparkling cocktail (try the Desert Bloom, a fruity blend of Chandon Brut, Don Julio Blanco, lime, prickly pear, and mint) or choose from a list of more than 30 types of bubbly by the bottle.

Also drawing attention in Calistoga, La Sirena Tasting Room marks the long-awaited debut tasting room from Napa Valley icon Heidi Barrett, whose winemaking helped define the rise of several of the region’s most coveted cult Cabernet labels in the 1990s. Set in a barn-style space, the ocean-inspired venue blends playful mermaid motifs with a polished, intimate tasting experience. Guests can explore small-production wines poured alongside unexpected standouts like dry Moscato and her signature Cabernet, offering a playful yet polished reflection of one of Napa’s most influential winemakers.

Also poised to make a splash later this year is Elsewhere Wine Bar & Lounge in downtown St. Helena. The soon-to-debut tasting room will serve rare and benchmark wines from around the world alongside fare from chef-partner Elliott Bell (the visionary behind the beloved family-owned eatery Charlie’s Napa Valley).

DINE

Former French Laundry alum Erik Anderson is partnering with Theorem Vineyards’ owners Kisha and Jason Itkin to open two new concepts in Calistoga. Ilora, a tasting-menu restaurant with Michelin ambitions, is slated to debut in fall 2026 inside a long-vacant 19th-century building. Expect modern Californian fare that draws from the winery’s culinary garden and the Itkins’ 20,000-acre Wagyu ranch in Montana. Across the street, TR Bar will open mid-next year, offering a more casual counterpoint with smashburgers, rotating steak cuts, and a playful lineup of boozy soft-serve shakes inside the former home of Calistoga’s Odd Fellows club.

Another newcomer in Calistoga is Eight North, from the award-winning, family-owned Lawer Estates winery. Chef Abby Burk uses a wood-fired grill to transform peak-season Napa produce and Alaskan seafood—a nod to the Lawers’ Alaskan roots—into refined dishes like wild halibut with chardonnay-braised artichokes, finished with a drizzle of extra-virgin olive oil from the family’s own trees. The weekend brunch is especially noteworthy, featuring warm cinnamon rolls, sourdough pancakes, and brown butter–roasted dates.

Set along Napa’s historic riverfront, Nomandie channels the Golden Age of Continental dining with elegant classics such as diver scallop Wellington and decadent Châteaubriand steak. While co-owner and sommelier Małgorzata Kalan curates a stellar wine program, the creative cocktail list is equally compelling, with offerings like a black pepper martini and a “Normandie spritz” made with sparkling wine, Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto, and soda.

Among the most innovative dining concepts to arrive in Napa in recent memory is ROTATION by Feast it Forward, launched in February by celebrated chef Martin Yan. As the region’s first full-service restaurant residency, ROTATION features a rotating lineup of acclaimed and emerging chefs, complemented by live entertainment and purpose-driven programming. Each residency includes ticketed dinners supporting the chef’s chosen charity, culminating in concerts inspired by their cultural roots. Events take place in the former C Casa space at Oxbow Public Market, with May’s series led by Lee Anne Wong, chef-partner of Koko Head Cafe and former contestant on Top Chef.

One of April’s most anticipated openings is George & Kin, a just-opened all-day Napa diner serving Americana breakfast classics with a Japanese twist. Co-owner and restaurateur Ben Koenig has crafted a menu that pairs staples like fluffy buttermilk pancakes with Japanese dishes such as vegetable miso soup, creamy curry udon, and Japanese milk bread.
