After a few days of sightseeing and dining out in the city, Shou Sugi Ban House will send one of the property’s chauffeured Teslas to deliver guests to the Hamptons’ first wellness retreat and spa. Spanning over five acres in Water Mill, Shou Sugi Ban House is a private sanctuary inspired by the principles of wabi-sabi and wellness traditions that value the simple beauty and healing properties found within the natural world. Winding pathways, rock water fountains, an outdoor dining orchard, a landscape inspired by Japanese gardens and the local dunescape, encourage guests to connect with the vast world around them. The property has an award-winning luxury spa and a world class culinary program offering wholesome, plant-forward meals that promote a return to the “Simplicity of the Self.”
During a minimum two-night stay, guests will enjoy a daily signature breakfast and morning movement class, and experience a private 60-minute Sound Bath for two, a private 60-minute hydrotherapy session for two, and a three-course dinner for two in the Main Barnon one evening from the seasonal, hyper-local culinary program designed by Michelin-starred chef Mads Refslund. Each Guest Studio has a fireplace, garden patio, and soaking tub, with organic Japanese in-room products and nightly seasonal soak, along with access to the saltwater swimming pool, Main Barn lounge with fireplace and reading library, fire lounge, solarium deck and cherry orchard. Guests are welcome to add additional meals as well as spa and wellness treatments to their itinerary to discover the transformative power of the healing arts.
This curated package can be further customized, and is available from now until November 15, 2022, giving travelers the flexibility to book throughout the summer and into the fall.
The starting package price for four nights, including two nights at each property, rangesfrom $5,685 to $6,565 depending upon the mix of weeknights and weekends; higher holiday rates over Labor Day weekend may apply. Additional nights, meals, experiences, spa and healing arts treatments may be added to itineraries upon request. This package may not be combined with any other offers.
